DJ’s watch out for your job… Turn tables in your pocket
Just joking… And as much Peter Bruce Photo and Belle Fine Weddings would say it and my good friend AC at Sound & Motion would too. want a good, NO… GREAT DJ at your wedding. I have seen so many wedding reception fail because the DJ sucked and did not know how to read or work the party. That being said I did find this interesting story in the local Newspaper, The Chronicle.
Turn tables in your pocket. WOW remember when the Sony walkman was the big deal.
This little gadget is a 60 GB (wow 60 when is 100 going to come) music player, the real kick is the way it lets you play DJ with your collection of songs. You have two channels to program & can move back and forth between them using a cross fader. Way cool.
If the beats are off or not in time, you can sync them up with a simple push of a button so you can seamlessly switch from one song to another. While you are doing this you can see the beat rate & watch as the Pacemaker matches the two songs beat rate.
But wait there is more,it’s not just fading in from song to song. You can add a bunch cool night club type effects to each songs like echo, delay,re verb and roll or you can add color effects like hi-cut/lo-cut, wash and crush. Wait till you here it. Apple is wishing they came up with this little power house.
You can time stretch and alter the speed or rate of a songs & set up loops, even reverse the playback & alter Pitch & key by any octave. One thing you can not do is scratch BUMMER, which is something Tonium is working on.
And the best thing ….are you ready and setting down for this. The cost $550.
Cheers, Peter Bruce & Belle Fine Music
